  1. I use bulb pins to mark decreases (sides, sleeves, armholes) and leave them hanging so that I can count my progress. Helpful if I have to rip back two sleeves and I know how many markers back to go. I also like this when I am doing a custom-fit garment, makes it easy to follow.

I sometimes use a pair of large dice to keep track of rows 🙂

When doing right or left-leaning or lifts – I use red markers for Right and any other colors for Left.

  2. Hello

I’ve just listened to this episode and for the person who is experiencing knitting abrasion, there was an interviewee on the Why I Knit podcast by Dr Mia who said she couldn’t knit when she was pregnant. So I suppose this is not unheard of. Unfortunately, I don’t recall which episode.
